The Automatan 8166 litho label laminator is designed to handle large‑format litho labeling without skip‑feed operation. It mounts litho sheets to corrugated board and chipboard using a cam‑driven laminating section that maintains consistent timing and registration. It is intended for high‑quality graphic packaging and display applications across short, medium, and long production runs.

Board and litho sheets are fed independently, adhesive is applied, and sheets are bonded under pressure before straight‑through discharge to an optional automatic stacker. Independent servo and suction controls support stable feeding at production speeds up to 4,500 sheets per hour without skip-feed while running large-format labels. The Model 8166 has stationary machine components with tilt-down transfer units allow easy access for machine set-up, equipment additions, clean-up and routine maintenance.
