GET THINGS MOVING WITH THE eMF
The Electric MINIFEEDER (eMF) is an automatic prefeeder for small size top printing converting machines. It is capable of feeding large stacks of small board sizes (max 800mm x 1880mm)[max 31.49” x 74.01”], which can be supplied to the Minifeeder in groups of stacks, or loads. These complete loads enter the Minifeeder via a conveyor system.
Once a load has entered the Minifeeder, the second stack is stabilized from the top by the topholder. The first stack is then lifted by the swivel assembly and positioned laterally for accurate centering. The stack is then tipped over and fed into the prehopper where the board is squared, fed through the shingle gate and sent shingled to the converting machine hopper, where the blanks are further squared by side and back tampers.
The Minifeeder has two main operator control panels, one downstream of the extendo conveyor and one at the main frame area. The extendo tilts up to allow the finishing machine to open underneath. Its telescoping ability allows for min/max thru blank adjustment or for roll out sections and its length can be customized to adapt the Minifeeder to virtually any factory layout.
