KEEP THINGS MOVING WITH THE BTC

The Bundle Transfer Conveyor (BTC) receives incoming bundles on raised pop-up infeed belts. As bundles reach the backstop, the pop up belts retract and the bundles exit to either the left or right side of the machine using belt-driven rollers. Dual-direction discharge can be selected as an option.

The Bundle Transfer Conveyor (BTC) is designed with:

• Manually adjustable backstop for downstream bundle positioning

• Pedestal mounted control station that can be flexibly located

• Choice of either left or right bundle exit direction

• Air actuated pop-up belts in the infeed direction, powered roller conveyor in the exit direction

• Micrologix 1000 PLC providing control of all machine operations

• Photoeye sensing of bundle entrance and exit

• Zero-energy electrical and pneumatic lockout
