The Raven is now fully operational in Boston, Massachusetts, with positive reports in regards to performance and reliability. Video footage from the plant shows the machine in production. Rand Whitney became the first organization to adopt the RAVEN, continuing to stay at the forefront of corrugated automation technology.
GET THINGS MOVING WITH THE RAVEN
The RAVEN automatically builds patterned units from bundles. Individual or doubled bundles are grasped by the EOAT and positioned in the desired pattern onto the floor conveyor. As each layer is built the stack squaring unit squares each side of the layer, squaring every layer until the stack is complete. Once the stack is complete and exits, the robot begins the next stack.
