GET THINGS MOVING WITH THE JOGGER AERATOR

An Automatan Jogger/Aerator automates the labor-intensive task of manually handling loads, addressing ergonomic concerns, saving on labor, and improving the condition of the product.

The Automatan Jogger/aerator is designed to turn, jog, and aerate loads of both board and paper and is configured for ground level loading and unloading with no special floor preparations. Turning allows inverting loads for downstream operations; changing, adding, and removing pallets and slip sheets; centering loads on pallets, and combining partial loads. Jogging/Aerating benefits include fluffing and cleaning sheets; squaring and aligning loads; and inspecting and culling sheets.

AERATION & VIBRATION SYSTEM

During aeration of a load, airflow is directed through the rows of holes by narrow openings in a traveling belt under each row. Air is released up and into the sheets as the openings move. The vibration system utilizes a vibration deck located under the air deck, which simultaneously jogs the load while the load is being aerated to evenly align the sheets against the stop bar. The special design of the angled air deck allows gravity, aeration and vibration to work in unison to supply a perfectly aligned load on two sides for lead and gripper edge feeding.

STOP BAR WITH PALLET SLIDE

The stop bar positions the load appropriately over the air holes. The pallet slide secures the pallet, or skid into position for jogging and aerating and is also used to center the pallet left to right under the load.

PAPER CAPABILITY FEATURE

The paper capability feature enables the operator to run paper stock. Includes a large electrical enclosure, air deck for paper, a variable flow blower and squaring tool.

AIR DECK

Has wide openings and a narrow gap in the air belt. 10 HP Variable Flow Blower (PATENTED): A switch on the operator’s station allows the operator to precisely control the volume of air that goes into the load. This ability to closely regulate the volume of air is the key to being able to run light paper stock.

SQUARING TOOL

Placed on top of the load when running paper stock. It holds the load in place when the air is flowing through the load and aids in maintaining the load with lighter weight material when using a greater volume of air.

TWO SIDE LOADING WITH FOUR LIGHT BEAMS

Three-way loading to provide more efficient and flexible product workflow. To ensure safe operation, photo eyes are strategically placed to shut the operation down if the light beams are broken.
