KEEP THINGS MOVING WITH THE INVERTING TOPFEEDER (ITF)

The Inverting Top Feeder (ITF) is an automatic prefeeder for top printing converting machines.  It is capable of feeding stacks of small board sizes (recommended maximum stack height is 3x smallest box dimensions up to a maximum of 79”).  The lead stack is conveyed to a side-shifting centering conveyor, centered, and then onto the lifting forks.  The stack is inverted while being controlled by anti-topple forks and fed into the Prehopper where it is accumulated and squared.  The shingle gate allows the material to exit the Prehopper in a continuous shingle.  The shingled material flows down the extendo into the finishing machine hopper.
